Lorraine Doorknobs
The Lorraine pattern dates to around 1900. We recreated the original dies and reproduce these in solid bronze. The pattern is inspired by architectural details found in the Lorraine region of France. The original finish was oxidized copper. We offer the pattern in light bronze and dark bronze (shown). Lorraine turn doorbell 430006Bell
The French Lorraine pattern was made by FC Corbin around 1900 in Stamford Connecticut. The turn (5 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches is an exact reproduction of an antique original. We remade the dies and stamp the turn in solid bronze. We finished the bell and turn a rich medium bronze. The bell (3 3/4 inch diameter) has a bright crisp ring. $74.95 includes everything you will need.

Lorraine Door Set 430012
This interior set is available as a passage (non-locking); keyed set (with skeleton key), privacy tube latch set (with push pull pin through the plate next to the doorknob to lock and lock the doorknobs), mortise lock privacy set (that has the old-fashioned turn in the back plate below the doorknob,)dummy set(for doorknobs that do not need to turn), and back door sets (add a deadbolt over the top of the set). This set is compatible with pre-bored doors and is easily installed with passage or privacy tube latches. The back plates measure 8 1/4 inches x 2 1/4 inches. The doorknobs measure 2 1/8 inches in diameter. Sold by the set of two doorknobs and two back plates. Working are purchased as needed.
Lorraine privacy set with lock 430015mort
The French Lorraine pattern was made around 1900 by PF Corbin of Stamford Connecticut. We remade the dies and press each piece in solid bronze using the same techniques and materials of over a century ago. The set is then finished in to medium rich antique bronze.
The back plates measure 2 1/4 inches; the doorknobs measure 2 1/4 inches; The face of the lock is 5 1/4 x 7/8 inches; the lock box recesses 3 inches, is 3 1/2 inches tall and 11/16th inches thick. The lock has all brass working parts and is an exact reproduction of an antique original.
Two finishes are available: medium bronze (pictured) and dark bronze (see set above).
